My father (Harry Winfred Whipple) and grandmother (Hazel Augusta (Parmelee) Whipple) both give his birthday as 26 May, not 3 May; also, they believe he changed his birth year to 1904 to procure a driver's license. His Social Security Number was 041-03-3919.
