He married Ida F. Beebe, daughter of Lucien Beebe and Elizabeth (?), on 18 December 1878 at Monson, Hampden, MA. Martin Rinaldo Maxwell appeared on the census of 15 June 1880 at Monson, Hampden, MA; age appears to be 64 - almost certainly an error. He married Emma I. Powers, daughter of John S. In that record his name is spelled 'Oveatt Lewis'. He was the son of Martin Rinaldo Maxwell and Emma I. Powers. Oviatt Lewis Maxwell married Lena May Lavene, daughter of Frank William Lavene and Mary Nina Greene, on 15 November 1905. Oviatt Lewis Maxwell appeared on the census of 30 April 1930 at Monson, Hampden, MA; age 46 on 1930 census. He died on 29 October 1945 at age 61. He was buried at Thorndike St., Palmer, Hampden, MA.
