I received a short note from John Maxwell this week to notify me that his
mother, June Maxwell (Armiger) died May 2, 2001. He said he was delayed in
writing as he just found my address in his mother's book. He said she died
from a "senseless violent act" but preferred not to go into detail. It is
rather stunning to get such a message and it can be left up to one's
imagination as to what happened. If any of you want to be in touch with John
